Unique Characteristics or Properties
This is a member of the garnet group of minerals, which contains well over 20 different minerals. Uvarovite is a very bright green crystal which usually forms in large patches of small crystals. Andradite is often mistaken for uvarovite when it has chromium to color it green as well.
