Christ went into an olive orchard where there was a stone olive press, a few weeds, many rocks and God the father. Here, for an hour or more, he prayed. His position depicted in this picture is in harmony with written accounts which are found in our scriptures. The drab, darkened scene is glorified and illuminated by divine presence.

The trees made to represent olive trees and the foliage is of cross-cut Sagenite in tubes, giving a pearly effect of leaves. The ray of light is of clear obsidian.
